Narrative: A large elvish population inhabitants Earthia’s South eastern coast. Green and gold dragons native to the region augment their military strength. Before we conquer this region and detour our forces to Steadwick we must annihilate these dragons. Our Kreegan allies from Eeofol requested the honor of this mission. The Kreegans are fierce warriors, they will enjoy the slaughter.

Special Rules: Your heroes are limited to reaching level 12. Your best eight heroes are available at the start of Steadwicks Fall without their armies or inventories.
Scenario Description: To win, you must find and kill the Gold Dragon Queen. Although your heroes are limited to Level 12 in this scenario, your eight strongest heroes will be available to you in the final scenario of this campaign.

Suggested Solution:

A. Starting bonus - Armor of Wonder or 100 imps, the first will help you throughout the scenario while the second is designed to give you a quick start.

B. Approach - Train at least three level 12 heroes, eliminate the cpu opponent as soon as possible and use the neutral army camps to bring your levels up.

C. Strategy - Race to get Devils so you can have enough of them when the time comes to fight the Dragon guardians. You can find an Alchemist Lab to the north-east of your town. Head south to find an Ore Pit and a Rampart town near by, which will supply you with some additional ranged unit support early on. When you have sufficient forces, go through the pass that leads west of your new Rampart town and keep going west until you reach an enemy Castle. Take it and station one of your heroes there. Your next target is a town to the north-east of the one you just occupied. By then you should also have enough creatures in store to dispatch another hero from your main base. Take that hero north-west to conquer another Rampart town. That will effectively corner and contain the enemy until you're ready to attack his main base in the north-west corner of the map. When the cpu is vanquished, take your time exploring the map, bringing your heroes up to level 12, and making sure you visit all the stat-boosting locations you come across. Building up your mage guilds also pays off as you get to keep the spells you learn here in the last scenario of the campaign. Finally, when you're satisfied with your heroes' development, head back to your Inferno town, buy off all the Arch Devils (and everything else, for that matter) you can afford and go through the subterranean gate (north-east corner). If you don't want to waste any more time on this map, circle the underground lake counterclockwise and walk down the tunnel that leads straight south. After fighting off some more Green Dragons, you'll meet with the Gold Dragon Queen.
