There will be four campaigns: an introductory Orc campaign, and then another Orc campaign, a Necropolis campaign, and an Academy campaign. Isabel, Freyda, Duncan, Wulfstan and Zehir will return; Arantir (the primary villain in Dark Messiah) will also make an appearance. The Orcs hate the Demons and wish to battle Biara.

Why take away ranged ability from assassins??? That is so stupid. I mean Dungeon units suck enough already(except for Black Dragons of course), why make them suck even more? Besides whats gonna happen when you play a hot seat game with a friend who happens to sit right next to you? Do you just wait for him to target the tile where the unit is standing or tell him: \"dude can you close your eyes for a sec while I hide my stalkers\". That is so stupid, did that idea come from the maker of the Leprechauns?

OMG!!! ...Skeleton Warriors? At least they were somewhat annoying when they were ranged, now they can suck along side with Zombies. This is ridiculous , its like taking away the roundhouse kick from Chuck and giving him a wooden leg for looks.

The new orc faction will be called, "Bastion". The main Bastion hero will be riding some sort of oxen. (Maybe a bull) There will be a new alternate upgrade for every creature in every faction. (including Bastion)

The Orc hero will be the Barbarian, strong on attack and completely against the use of magic. He's basically a might hero, but has some "Spellbreaker" type abilities that allow him to reduce the effects of enemy magic on his units. All units in the Orcish army possess the unique ability of being subordinate to the call of the blood, they become more enraged: more martial and more aggressive. But the main thing is the more active they are, the better they battle.

Orc Heroes won't be able to cast spells

- Orcs Racial Skill: Blood Rage
Blood Rage will work passively: every time an Orc unit performs an action (other than Defend or Wait), it will gain some adrenaline points (filling a sort of "rage bar"). Conversely, when staying passive, it will lose adrenaline points. Each unit will have 3 thresholds, gaining a specific bonus each time [see alexrom66 quote below for an example].

Any rage bonus will be obtained for the rest of the battle, as long as the rage bar stays above the corresponding threshold. Orcs have thus a big incentive not to stay passive in combat, as they would become weaker. The rage level is not kept from one combat to another, but the starting rage level can be increased by the hero. There will be numerous ways to influence the blood rage through hero development [maybe artifacts as well, or war cries?].

Highest rate of filling "rage bar" gives melee attack that executed by orc's stack. Middle rate of filling bar gives melee attack performed by enemies against orc's stack. Slow rate of filling bar gives ranged attack performed by enemies against orc's stack.

And there are many other actions that fills "rage bar" (almost all actions with exclusion of Wait and Defend). For example, the shamaness fill her rage bar by cast spells, sacrificing goblins.

There will be 3 levels of "rage" bonuses to stack. Bonuses will be awarded to stack automatically after rage bar is filled to certain level. First bonus is easy to get: it needs 1-2 melee attacks by stack; but higher level bonuses will require much more "rage points".

Each type of creature gives its own bonuses. For example, Orc (level 3 unit of Stronghold) on 1st level of rage gets bonuses to HP and speed; on 2nd, bonus to attack; on 3nd, Double Attack ability.

By default, the rage bar is empty in the beginning of combat. But special building in orc's town gives small starting bonus to "rage points" in the beginning of combat. For example, if that building will be built in 4 orc's towns than orc stacks will be enter in combat already having 1st level rage bonus.

Rage points are affected by morale,wait and defend command attacking enemy units,eating and sacrificing goblins,and taking enemy hits or sustaining casualties

New Barbarian skill is named \"Voice\". You can clearly see the icon and name for this skill behind the \"memory of our blood\" level up screen. It\'s an icon of a barbarian screaming with \"basic voice\" written next to it. Considering the elimination/substitution of the magic-based skills, it would be a logical assumption that \"Voice\" would replace \"Sorcery\" in the Barbarian skill set.

Battle Rage works with an adrenaline-bar, which fills with each (un)succesfull attack. The more the bar fills the more damage the units do. The bar will deplete if the player does not attack for x turns. (source is mentioned somewhere in the Tribes announced thread, but I can't seem to find it.)

Orcs
1) Goblin shamans have the ability to tear spell from an enemy hero or casting unit. If the goblins fail, they will cast the spell they were going to tear on themselves. Goblin hunters can set traps, which are invisible to the enemy.
2) Centaurs are the fastest shooters in the game, but take four tiles on the battlefield. Centaur nomads can run away from enemy, who has just hit them and then shoot the enemy from distance with half their normal strength. Centaur marauders does not have penalty when shooting into support.
3) One of the upgrades for Orc warrior can take hits, which were targeted on a nearby friendly stacks, also his retaliation attack is two times stronger than normal attack.
4) Shamans: Human and succubus hybrids can cast haste and slow. One of the upgrades, when engaged in hand-to-hand combat will curse (Slow, Weakness, Curse, Disrupting ray) the opponent.
5) Orc warlords raise initiative of all friendly creatures by one.
6) Pao-kai is one of the upgrades for wyvern. It is immune to blind, because it has no eyesight to begin with. It attacks with electric breath that harms everyone standing near the attacked creature (amount of damage is divided among those affected by the discharge). In addition, Pao-kai can eat dead bodies to restore health.
7) Cyclops is a strong hand-to-hand fighter, with an ability to attack walls, when in siege battle. One of the upgrades for Cyclops can shoot beam from his eye that affects several creatures, and decreases his victims luck.
