Due to a sprite's small stature and stunning speed opponents find it impossible to retaliate against their attacks.
Comments: A weak creature, which is only effective in large numbers, where no retaliation is a great special to have. The sprite’s speed, movement and ability to fly makes it a perfect scout, as does its high growth and cheap cost.
Wolves snap and claw at their opponents, getting two attacks in combat.
Comments: A good level 1 creature, with its two attacks specialty making it a sound attacker. Its cost is slightly expensive for what it is, however, 7 speed and its 21/7 movement make it a mobile creature, on the combat map, and an average one on the adventure map.
Elves, masters of the longbow, are able to attack twice per round, and their first attack always occurs before their enemy can retaliate.
Comments: A good creature with low HP and damage, but competent in every other area. The shoots twice specialty is great, as is ranged first strike. Fair movement upholds the speed of the army, with an ample amount of shots.
The wise white tiger is not only fast but a strategic genius in battle, so they can attack an enemy before they can retaliate.
Comments: A good creature statistically with high HP, attack and defense ratings. Additionally, it once again has excellent speed and movement, a useful ability, but only one of them.
Griffins are fierce, tireless fighters who have an unlimited capacity to retaliate against enemy attacks.
Comments: A powerful creature with high HP and very high movement. Although, it does have poor attack and defense ratings, and its requirements are very expensive. The unlimited retaliation ability is excellent, and helps in larger battles where all creatures are being bombarded.
The touch of a unicorn's magical horn has a chance of blinding its opponent.
Comments: A fair level 3 creature with average everything except movement. The cheapness of the unicorn is also a factor, as are its cheap requirements. The Blind ability is good as it allows the unicorn to disable a stronger creature and move onto the next one.
Faerie dragon have a natural defense against magical attacks, reflecting spells back on the caster (similar to the Magic Mirror spell). They can also cast Confusion, Cloud of Confusion (15/FD), Fireball (36.6/FD), Fire Ring (36.6/FD), and Lightning (65.8/FD).
Comments: A great spellcasting creature with very bad attacking skills. It deals fair damage and is a swift mover, but the shining point is its array of powerful spells, 3 of the 4 being direct damage. The icing on the cake is the constant magic mirror, making the caster pay for casting a spell on it.
The fiery breath of the phoenix can attack multiple enemies under the right conditions, and once per combat, it can attempt to return from the dead.
Comments: An excellent creature in every possible way. Great HP, good attack and defense, good damage, excellent speed and movement, and unique and useful special abilities. Rebirth is truly remarkable, restoring dead Phoenixes during battle!
