Expert's Corner (by ThE_HyDrA)

The Dungeon town has always had a focus on sulfur, and this continues, but to a slightly lesser extent. The buildings are averagely priced overall, with spikes at the second and sixth levels, especially with resource costs with the latter. In the early stages, wood, ore, sulfur and crystal will all be needed in varying portions, while mercury is only required in minimal portions at level 6. The first level buildings are fairly cheap considering the Scout/Assassin combination is the most effective level 1 creature in the game. Ore is a prevalent resource with the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th level structures, and is a factor in the Dragon Spire.

The Dungeon town, like the Academy, has high resource costs, especially at the later levels, but requires considerably smaller portions of the primary resources, Wood and Ore. Both of these resources are needed specifically for only around 1/2 of the dwellings, which is not necessarily beneficial - they add up. There aren't any specifically tailored pre-requisites for the special buildings, aside from the Blood Arena which is a mainstream building anyway.

Without an ample supply of crystal and sulfur, the Dungeon will struggle in the end-game. The Palace/Hall of Shadows severely drain your much needed precious resources, so it is advised to spend your gold and resources on the Dragon Spire rather than the Palace of Shadows.
